As diplomatic representatives of the Indigenous peoples of Mexico, our mission is to advance the rights, dignity, and well-being of Indigenous communities on the international stage, in alignment with the principles of social justice, equality, and respect for Mother Earth.

Through this diplomatic space, we aim to serve as a bridge of communication between Canadian authorities and Indigenous communities in Mexico, fostering the exchange of knowledge, collaboration on sustainable development projects, and the preservation of our languages and cultures. In particular, our work focuses on highlighting the common challenges faced by Indigenous peoples in both countries, including access to education, healthcare, land protection, and the recognition of human rights.

We reaffirm our commitment to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, as well as to international agreements that protect our collective rights. From this Embassy, we collaborate closely with Indigenous communities, the Government of Mexico, and international entities, with the steadfast aim of advancing public policies that ensure justice, equity, and sustainability for our peoples.

We deeply appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Mexico and Canada, recognizing the cultural diversity and historical richness of our peoples. We are firmly convinced that intercultural cooperation and solidarity are key tools in the defense of Indigenous rights in the global context, and we are committed to continuing our tireless efforts toward a more just and equitable future for generations to come.
